Best Dressed.

Congratulations to my  pick for Best Dressed, Jessica Chastain. I think the blushy/coppery/rose goldy dress works beautifully with her skin tone and hair. And I love that red lip. Nicely done, Jess.

This year, finding a best dressed candidate was easy. There weren’t too many to pick from. Honorable mentions to Stacy Keibler (it pains me to say that) and Sandra Bullock (although that is the ugliest f-ing hair piece I have ever seen). The rest of you are all fired. I’m looking right at you, Anne. Ever heard of a curling iron, Jen?

And finally, David crushed me in our Oscar ballot game last night. Crushed me. Like it wasn’t even close. You movie stars really let me down this year. You better get it together for 2014. I want you to use this time to think about what you’ve done.

I agree with your pick! Loved. My other top picks of the night were:

Jennifer Garner- I love some Gucci and I thought she looked great! Annnnd, I kind of want to be her. To have Ben thank me for anything…what a life!

Amy Adams- always looks beautiful to me. So pretty and lady like and girly and like she walks on clouds.

Naomi Watts- BAM! Edgy, sexy…nailed it. Loved.

I also want to steal Anne’s necklace.

I do love the Affleck’s! Although I didn’t like the ruffles on Jen’s dress. Thanks for sharing your picks, Maria!

Whew, I’m so glad I wasn’t the only one who thought there were so few pretty dresses. And, Halle Berry, is she auditioning for the next Star Trek remake with those shoulder pads and that hairdo?? Really? So many beautiful women, so little taste……

Thanks for the comment, Chris!! I really liked Halle at first glance, but then I noticed the details (hair and shoulders) and lost interest. Totally agree!
