What I’m Working On: Unisex Bath

I’m currently working with a client on revamping his master bathroom. He’s a bachelor so we need something that will ¬†balance masculine (what he likes) with the feminine (for any potential girlfriends and more importantly resale value). This photo is the driving force for the design plan, in particular the tile and greige color scheme. We’re using vein-cut marble with monochromatic finishes on the walls and vanity. I’m going to introduce an over-sized milky white subway tile in a herringbone pattern in part of the shower (remember that photo I shared with you after my NYC trip?) to break up all the taupe tile. We’ll finish things off with chrome hardware/lighting and natural accents like medium brown wood mirrors and baskets¬†(Thank you Nate Berkus for Target).

There’s a structural problem that requires immediate attention, and then the fun begins!! I’ll do my best to post progress shots for you to see the transformation.
