Holiday shopping @ TROVH
In between meetings in Takoma Park, Maryland last week, I popped into the home store, Trohv. I had heard nothing but great things and I was not disappointed. From contemporary furniture to reclaimed farmhouse-style pieces, large and small, I was in heaven.
See. That’s what heaven looks like.
The coolest thing about the store was ALL the little treasures and trinkets that are on display at every turn. Think Anthropologie’s caliber of displays. You could walk through that store 6 times and you still wouldn’t see everything (a quick convo with the sales staff confirmed that this happens to them too). It’s the perfect place to pick up a unique stocking stuffer or hostess gift. Trust.
Not in Maryland? Not to worry. Take a look at their online store. It’s broken into the following categories…
and Holiday. How appropriate.
Amongst all the whimsical accessories, I was most intrigued by Kitchen Paper’s decorative paper place mats. Genius idea. I also was quite taken with a collection of printed storage boxes from Contain Multiples that were bright and colorful. A step above the solid ones available at The Container Store. I made out with an amazing cognac leather computer case for my laptop that I’m in love with. I plan to go back before Christmas and really do some damage for
me my friends and family. I recommend you do the same.
Trohv is located in the Takoma Park area of DC and also in Baltimore. Check it out!
