I love cowhides. Any type of hide, really. But clearly not as much as my friend**, Mary Amons. This is her house featured in Home and Design Magazine. And it’s on hide overload. Let’s count them, shall we?
Carry the forty six.
WHHHHAAAA? Didn’t the kitchen get the memo?
We’ve branched out. There’s zebra…
…and fur. And the total comes to? Way too many. If only there were sheepskin.
**She’s my friend because we both know what it’s like for people to be jealous of us.
Just kidding. Name that movie. I say she’s my friend because I have seen her out in public twice. Once at The District Sample Sale and another while brunching at Matchbox in Capitol Hill. So, obviously we’re best friends. Really though, Mary Amons might sound familiar to you because she was on the show The Real Housewives of DC. She’s the one with the crazy, high security closet. Which probably has a cowhide in it.
While we’re on the subject of The Real Housewives, do you know what bothers me more than 343543 hides in one room? The fact that I live in the ONLY city in America with a failed Housewives franchise. Not okay, DC. Not okay.
