Attitude Glasses.

The other day I was at the mall picking up a sock bun donut from that cheesy accessory store, Icing. Don’t judge. I was there for one very specific hair piece. Just me and about 4 other teenage girls selecting their rhinestone tiaras for Prom later that night. I’m so cool. Anyway, while I was standing in line trying not to make eye contact with anyone, I saw a display of “Attitude Glasses” and immediately went to investigate. Could it be? Yes. An entire display of fake glasses. I instantly picked out a Wayfarer style (aka Geek or Hipster) to copy cat my fashion idol, Jenna Lyons.

I don’t need glasses. My vision is pretty much perfect. But, for some reason, I’ve had a weird obsession with fake glasses for years. I picked up my first pair in Rhode Island (Thayer Street to be exact) while I was visiting my best friend at Providence College. I don’t know what is it. I just like wearing them around the house. I feel smarter, more important, more bad-ass and sassy. I guess you could say I feel filled with a little more attitude. How appropriate.

Go pick up a pair for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.
