Neon doors.

Truth be told, I am not the biggest fan of the neon trend that’s happening right now. It’s just a lot to take in. Neon is extreme. I have yet to see something that I would classify as neon (vs. just really bright colors) that truly excites me.  That is until I saw these doors painted a serious shade of highlighter yellow.

I dig it.

P.S. When it comes to neon in fashion, I am a little more open-minded. Just a little. I really, really like the idea of pairing neons/fluorescents with nudes/blush tones (as seen here and here). It’s a great balance for those of us who are not totally on board with going full fledged neon. I think the theme here is that I like my neon in sharp, concentrated bursts. What do you think? Too much?

never have trouble finding that person’s house! i’m with you, but actually, it funks up that black and white look like no lime green or yellow possibly could. maybe just a door. since that can be changed when neon goes back to only being for signs.

I am not one for full head-to-toe neon but a little pop here and there is amazing. I love the picture of the door against the light grey/blue.
